Membership in the Club

Who may become an acting member?

Residence requirements:

Persons born in St. Petersburg or having St. Petersburg family roots.
Persons born outside the city, but living and working in St. Petersburg for at least 15 years.

Age requirements:

At least 23 years old

Contributions to city life:

Persons who have distinguished themsleves with a significant contribution to the preservation, development and protection of traditional St. Petersburg values for the welfare of the city. Persons who have played a special role in the promotion of St. Petersburg's international, cultural and historic role.

The year of 2002 has become for the World Club of Petersburgers the year of making new friends, time for development of established relationship with those who feel their connection to “the world city” of St. Petersburg.

On November 10, 2002 in the framework of the “300 Years to St. Petersburg: Russia, open to the world” exhibition program taking place in London, in Somerset House took place session of the World Club of Petersburgers.

During 2002-2003 holding of tour exhibitions devoted to St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary

The exhibitions will be held in the world largest political and financial centers – London (Great Britain), New York (USA) and Berlin (Germany). The club is invited to take part in the exhibitions and to hold its tour session in these cities.
